Total Lunar Eclipse will Happen this Friday

The longest total lunar eclipse of the century will take place this Friday. The moon will appear blood red in the Eastern Hemisphere beginning at 19:20 Universal Time (2:20 PM EST). —

The Earth will appear to be inside a red “ring of fire” when viewed from the moon. The eclipse will last over six hours in total. A total lunar eclipse will not last this long until June 9th, 2123.
The eclipse will not be visible in North America but NASA will be streaming it live.
